Emily Liu is a designer and artist based in New York City, NY, and Jersey City, NJ. She holds a BFA degree as a recent graduate from Parsons School of Design with a dean’s scholarship, majoring in communication design.
Her works range from book & editorial design, branding & art direction, to illustration and printmaking.
Emily’s creative ideology is rooted in the concept of “design as an expression”, portraying design as more than a mere container of an idea, but an idea itself. With this principle In mind, she centers her projects and practices around building an elaborate system and experience, which are portrayed in various mediums and forms.
